Our Gurgaonmom member, Jimlee Borah has noticed this recipe in an Ayurvedic text book. She has tried it in the past and came down 2 sizes…..What could be more tempting!! She calls it the Wonder Diet and here it goes!!

Wonder Diet
Day 1
Only fruits as many as you want. No bananas. 5 litres of water.
Day 2
2 large boiled potatoes for breakfast. Vegetables raw or cooked as many as you want. 5 litres of water.
Day 3
Vegetables and fruits. As much as you want but no potatoes or bananas. 5 litres of water.
Day 4
1.5 litres of milk and 8 bananas. 5 litres of water.
Day 5
6 tomatoes and 1 small cup rice and 6 litres of water.
Day 6
1 cup boiled/ steamed rice and vegetables. 5 litres of water.
Day 7
1 glass juice, 1 cup boiled/ steamed rice and vegetables. 5 litres of water..

 

Important Do's & Don't's 
  • No salt/spices intake for 7 days.
  • No tea/coffee intake with milk, only black coffee allowed.
  • Very very important the consumption of water as it is firstly a detox plan and then a diet.
  • Weigh yourself before the diet. On the 8th day, you’ll actually be 5kgs less.
  • After the diet, it is IMPORTANT to resume your meals as you did prior to the diet, very important to eat normal food with its spices and oil. 
  • Do not continue to do the diet beyond 7 days.
  • Can do it once in a month if your objective is weight loss and continue it hence forth till your desired weight is achieved.

Unfortunately Jimlee doesn't remember the title of the Ayurvedic textbook from where she got this detox diet. If you know it, pl email us and we can give due credits.
