Boxed meals have never looked so good as the ones provided by The Trial Box, a most welcome entrant in the latest “bento box” style of meals. These meal kits are convenient and frankly have continuously  impressed me, looks and taste wise.
The order was expected at 7pm and we received it at 6:50pm, already a good start! We ( moi, the husband and our two offspring) began with the kebab platter consisting of of Banno Kebab, Reshmi Khus Seekh kebab and Paneer pakhtooni tikka.  The kebabs were the melt in your mouth kind and the spices were well balanced. I also love how each box came with its condiments packed in glass jars. The green chutney was excellent.

Butter Chicken & Paneer Butter Masala

This was followed by butter chicken and paneer butter masala with naan and tandoori parathas. The butter chicken was the clear winner as we felt the latter was a tad less flavourful. More importantly, the feedback about this was given to the establishment and they handled with grace. Kudos for a well trained staff.

Vietnamese Bowl

The piece de resistance for me has and will always be the Vietnamese bowl. A medley of fresh vegetables, optimally cooked glass noodles and some super fine grilled chicken topped with peanuts and a boiled egg. Wholesomeness in a bowl!
My favourite part is the fact that The Trial Box comes in three portion sizes, to feed 1, 4-5 and 8-10 person/ persons with so many cuisine options. Chinese, Mughlai, Thai, and so much more, one is truly spoilt for choice. Also, no more arguing and compromising over what the family should order in. With my son being  a vegetarian and the rest of us not, this is a blessing. To each their own, literally!

The packaging is sturdy, solid and a tad posh. I could just serve it directly from the box and everything from napkins to cutlery are included.  Even if someone did judge me for not taking out the fine china, one bite of the food would have them silenced! Once we were done, I packed all the trash which fit in the box that it came in. No fuss, no mess, my kinda meal.
The prices are pleasantly affordable. For example The Sufiana Kebab Box which consists of three kinds of kebabs is priced at ?1599 for 8-10 people. Quantities are substantial and we always end up taking bites from each other’s meal boxes with enough to spare.
These boxes in their various portion sizes are ideal for parties, office lunches or just dining alone. Convenience, good pricing and gourmet cooking all rolled into one! You can order your Valentine’s Special Trial Box from http://bit.ly/2RWCF1a
