This is a name I gave these brownies because added thoori ( torai or ridge gourd. Peerkangai in Tamil) to them
They are super delish – may taste a bit dry after a few days – so eat them up soon
Ingredients
- 1 cup ragi flour
- 1 cup whole-wheat flour
- ¼ powdered jaggery
- ¼ cup cocoa
- A generous cup of dark chocolate chips
- 6-7 grated thooris
- ½ cup veg oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp salt & 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp vanilla essence
- Almond pieces ½ cup
Method
- Mix all the dry ingredients
- Beat together the eggs, oil , vanilla
- Add to the dry
- Add the grated thooris . Mix well. I found the mixture too dry so added ¼ cup milk
- Bake and enjoy
