This is a name I gave these brownies because added thoori ( torai or ridge gourd. Peerkangai in Tamil) to them
They are super delish – may taste a bit dry after a few days – so eat them up soon

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ragi flour
  • 1 cup whole-wheat flour
  • ¼ powdered jaggery
  • ¼ cup cocoa
  • A generous cup of dark chocolate chips
  • 6-7 grated thooris
  • ½ cup veg oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt & 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla essence
  • Almond pieces ½ cup

Method

  • Mix all the dry ingredients
  • Beat together the eggs, oil , vanilla
  • Add to the dry
  • Add the grated thooris . Mix well. I found the mixture too dry so added ¼ cup milk
  • Bake and enjoy
