Adeniums are rightfully called "The Desert Rose". These summer blooms are the least fussy and require the least care. You neglect them and they still reward you with their blooms.
They're from the succulent family and hence require very well draining soil. The soil mix should be sand, compost, soil and coal pieces. Care should be taken so that the drain holes are covered with pebbles and the excess water drains off.
Adeniums naturally take the form of bonsais. Hence they can be grown in bonsai pots and trained well.
There are various varieties. Single colored, double colored, single petaled, multi-petaled and also the grafted ones where you have different colored ones on the same plant.
