Hamleys ‘The Finest Toy Shop’ in association with DLF Mall of India, Noida hosted a fun Sunday on 10th December with celebrity mom Riddhima Kapoor Sahani and her daughter Samara.
Riddhima unboxed a larger than life gift box and out came – jugglers, dancers, acrobats, jokers and a BIG Hamley Bear!!!
It was a spectacular show and everyone including the adults enjoyed it tremendously.
This was a part of ‘Letters to Santa’ 2018 campaign and Riddhima along with daughter Samara – wrote the first letter!
That letter included the naughty and nice list and Christmas wish list for Santa.
I represented GurgaonMoms at the event and got an opportunity to meet Riddhima in person and ask her a few questions.
When asked what does Samara wish for Christmas or what was her favourite toy at Hamleys, Riddhima quoted – ” Samara loves pink and princess and anything in between”

I asked her what was that one toy which she wishes to get for her daughter.Riddhima mentioned that she still remembers her toy – a baby doll, which would talk, walk and move her eyes, however, it is not available very easily now

Samara looked like a cute princess and was dressed in all pink outfit designed by mom Riddhima’s latest clothesline – fashion label ‘ARA’, which means ornament in Persian. Riddhima also complimented a beautiful pair of earrings  from her line of jewelry http://riddhimakapoorsahni.com/
She is a  hands-on mother. When asked if she is a strict mom or not? She quotes” I am a gentle mix of two! I always try to be a mom like my mother Neetu Kapoor but cannot match up to her.” She adds that her mom was very strict with her but she is far more lenient with Samara.
Riddhima also mentioned how she used to always love Hamleys. She remembers good times spent in Hamley toy shops in the UK with her brother Ranbir. It’s amazing that now Hamleys is in India
When asked why didn’t she choose to be an actor? Riddhima said that acting was never an inclination for her and she is happy managing her 3 children ( daughter Samara, husband(Bharat Sahani) and her new venture
It was an event to remember for sure and being a GurgaonMoms member, I am glad that I got an opportunity to be a part of it.
