So, this evening I had my both hands full and still my son Ahaan was after my life to do something for him. I replied, honey you can see my both hands are full right now, you have to wait for your turn. I was actually attending to his little sister Suhani’s nature call. So he replies very innocently, why dont you get one more hand, then I dont have to wait. See, we figured it out what we moms need. whoaaa!!! |  |

I am a mom to 2 kids, one is a bit skinny(Yash) and the other is a bit plump(jay).Lovingly Yash calls Jay Golu-molu, So when Jay had to make a sentence with GOOLAAKAR, he wrote as a matter of factly- MAI GOOLAAKAR HOON!!!
Arnav, then 6, was overheard telling his friend when he said that I should know Michael Jackson…

It was our anniversary a few weeks ago and it being a working day, middle of the week , we had not planned on going out/doing a party etc. I asked my daughter if she wanted us to do something special and she said, " Mom, I want nothing. But tonight when you sleep, I want you and Papa to hold hands while sleeping……"
We were amazed and touched by her perspicacity and her connect with the non-material things at still a very young age….
There are several incidents which I still remember when my sons were at that age. They are grown up now. But remembering those things always brings smile and make me happy, cherishing that time.
Once my husband's bank's chairman had visited our home. Manu my younger son was hardly 3 years at that time. He was sitting in the Chairman's lap. I heard him telling, " I know He-man, I know Spider-man, Super-man, Bat-man, but I never heard of Chair-man."
Once he told me, "I know what India tastes like". Unable to understand him, what he wanted to convey, I told him that India is a country where we live. He replied, "But I think we can taste India and it tastes just like Amul butter…. He was referring to Amul's advertisement. " Amul… The taste of India."
…my five year daughter was drawing something hence this conversation:
Me.. Siya go to your Room and draw there. Is drawing room a place to draw?
Siya.. If it’s not than why is it called drawing room.
