Uthaan is doing so commendable work towards saving the environment . 5th June was World Environment Day and it brought together some amazing green warriors  and citizens who care about the environment at Butterfly Park .

It was a beautiful morning well -spent as we got to know about the need and way to grow or own food by Sangita Wahi Mohin from Green Street .Next was a session of how to make home compost and bio enzymes at home by activist Sameera Satija . we learnt that no fancy equipments are required to make it and it can be easily made from kitchen waste .

The Nukaad Natak on water conservation and environment safety by some school kids were informative and well presented . Anshu Arya from ARTitude4Art conducted a brilliant NOTWASTE workshop for kids where they created beautiful items from waste materials .

My 11 year daughter  Simrann accompanied me and what she really had fun making were seed bombs . Alka Saran from Lets Plant Gurugram taught the young green warriors to make  milk weed seed bombs .Milk weed is an excellent plant for Tiger butterflies.
