When I fist visited The Pasta Bowl Company, I was completely intrigued because there was so much variety for someone like me who does not eat gluten. This place is a complete enchantment for pasta lovers. But every business has a story. Before any success, there is a lot of hard work.
Let’s hear it from Aditi Bicholia Nayak: CEO ,The Pasta Bowl Company, who talks about her wonderful journey.
From a finance background to a super successful restauranteer – what kind of emotions is your heart filled with, when you think of this journey?
Every journey starts with a dream, a vision and entails alot of hardwork. There are ups and downs and at the end of it , its all worth it. Its a bouquet of emotions and a very wholesome feeling.
When did you realise that you wanted to start your own business?
The thought had always been there at the back of our minds while busy setting up food and beverage businesses for others as consultants. As fate had it all planned my husband too is of the same mind set and together we embarked on this beautiful journey creating ‘The Pasta Bowl Company’ for people to enjoy.
What kind of challenges did you face?
There are always challenges when you start something new. I too faced a few , however have always had a very supporting team with Gods grace. There have been times when handling a situation at work and balancing things and the routine at home was challenging but one works around it all eventually.
What were your goals twenty years ago and what are your goals now?
20 years ago goals were defined by the times, mind set and situations then. I am lucky that I have accomplished most of my goals from that time. Now the goals have evolved. I want to take my brands/ company to the next level of expansion and set a benchmark and become a role model for my kids .
How has your journey been with GurgaonMoms?
Its been a beautiful journey. It overwhelms me to see so much support, joy and encouragement. Its a feeling of gratitude and admiration that words can’t define.
What would you tell a fellow mom who would like to start something of her own?
If you have a dream, envision it and go for it because the sky is the limit. Yes there will be hurdles but we are strong enough to conquer the highest mountains. Believe in yourself and go for it.
What is your favourite dish?
I just love stuffed paranthas. A nice onion , chilli stuffed parantha with a generous dollop of butter is my go to meal.
What advice would you give your 18-year-old self today?
Life is beautiful and always remember the best is yet to come. Stay confident and always trust your gutt.
What/who inspires you the most?
Life and people inspire me. My two little ones inspire me in the most amazing ways. The way the world has dealt with recent calamities inspires me and makes me realise how much we have and how much we can achieve if we work hard and stand together.
What is your stress buster?
Definitely my daughters.I love my walks and my workout, that’s big stress buster for me. I enjoy my cup of tea sitting outside, admiring the flowers in my garden calms me .
