You pay a price for being so adventurous sometimes…
I was comfortably hopping around with my camera in Colombo, making sure that I do not miss out on anything beautiful, interesting or unique …my camera shutter was wide open to embrace such delightful images …
I was trying to capture a centipede…which looked bright and fiery-red n black …slowly crawling around on a branch…I heard some strange noise….but I kept ignoring…I heard it again…it didn’t feel good…it was a very perturbing feeling…I ignored again….but this time my instincts warmed me loud n clear….something forewarned me…n I looked back…
I simply froze to death…..a huge cobra was ready to attack me in its full glory…..my hands trembled n heart refused to beat……but mind kept sending signals to my hands…to pick up that damn camera and take that perfect shot…..n I DID……….

But I forgot to share a small detail……..whatever you read so far is nothing but lies…..nothing of that sort happened…..it was a harmless cobra ? comfortably coiled up in Sri Lankan Mr. Bean (bajane wali) aka sapere ki tokri “…….he pulled up the lid to get a picture clicked with the snake….but I am not brave enough…let me confess…so I just took a shot and started walking away…but that Mr. Beans chased me till my car asking for “mony mony” …Nah Nah not the parasmani..err mony….he meant money….as I had shot a pic of his precious possession……I had to pay a price…I was not wrong in my above statement….but it was only in terms of mony….I mean money…?
