Anything that requires getting dressed and putting on some make up, has all my love and attention. Karwa Chauth is one such festival, where all the rituals meet glamour. Preparing for the festival days in advance, buying matching bangles, getting henna done on the Karwa Chauth eve, and getting dressed in the morning are exciting parts of the festival. I was elated when I got a chance to get my make up done at Sephora, Thanks to GurgaonMoms. Being a “make up” fan, I could not let go of this golden chance to get ready at Sephora.
A wonderful experience and an even better end result, I couldn’t have asked for more for this special day. The session began with them checking my skin, and then selecting the base products suitable for my skin type and tone. I was amazed by the job the orange colour corrector did on my dark circles and dark spots. The make up base made my extra dry skin supple. I asked for soft smokey eyes with some shimmer, and that’s what I got, in fact better, with bold lips.
The make up artist was patient and cooperative despite hundreds of questions and suggestions that I had regarding my make up. She did a perfect job on my eyes and face.
I stepped out of Sephora well ready for the evening, looking forward to a few compliments. And although my husband always has a twinkle in his eyes whenever I wear a saree, but this time the compliments just kept coming.
