RELATIONSHIPS
Children’s Day is celebrated every year on November 14th. It is a reminder for all of us to prioritise the needs of our children and also to keep the child in us alive.
As our children grow older, our relationship becomes more mechanical with them, especially during the weekdays.
‘It’s time for school, it’s time for dinner, it’s time for class, and so on’
Most importantly, we, as parents, forget that once we were kids too. We forget how they feel when we scream at them or don’t trust them.
Ambika Rikhye spoke with a few children (teens and pre-teens), and they spoke about their struggles as kids.
