One tiny tale-word of fiction but reality of many.

Soon after one year of staying together, she realized it was not worth investing pure and sincere emotions in a person who is not worth her salt.
That one year spent together was a nightmare and the house was nothing less than a hell hole.

She gave her best shot ….but his male ego would never let her win…

One fine day she collected all her pieces, pulled up all her strength and asked him to move out…he obliged with happiness..as this was the moment he was waiting for

The WhatsApp message from him read…”I did not take any of my belongings..am sending the driver, send it across with him-goodbye”…

She packed a huge carton……scribbled a small note, wiped her tears and suddenly smiled…..a smile that slowly turned into a childlike laughter…

She taped the box carefully…put a sticker that said-Fragile.

He was quite surprised to see such a big box as he had almost brought all of his belongings…only a few were left….
He almost ripped open the carton…in anticipation…..

He was shocked to peep inside…..
It was empty………..there was nothing except a small note..and a tiny wooden box.
He picked it up with hands trembling with anger…swollen up nostrils and a noticeable frown…

The note said…..

“I have donated all your belongings to Dayal kaka’s son who has served you for one year…I just thought since your Karma would only earn you curses, at least let your belongs fetch you some blessings…. n by the way…please open this wooden box with utmost care…..it has your most precious possession and it is very very fragile……please keep it safe…as a gentle reminder from my side for the rest of your life…..goodbye”

He was very curious to open the box…as far as his memory goes…he had no such precious thing left behind…
Ah…the box was empty too…a small note was sticking to its lid…..

“YOUR PRECIOUS MALE EGO”-@kathachitram by Shailja

(This story was my way of taking out my frustration …as I just received a box from Amazon with all broken bulbs…..despite a “handle with care-fragile -sticker stuck on it.Suddenly that sticker gave me an idea for this tale….
