Gurguram finally has a Butterfly Park which was inaugurated last week on World Biodiversity Day. The park is at Tau Devi Lal Biodiversity Park, Sector 52. Rs 3 crore has been allocated for the project and is a joint initiative of the Forest Department and Gurugram-based NGO Uthaan.
The Butterfly Park currently has 27 species of butterflies namely peacock pansy, plain tiger, mottled emigrant, lemon pansy and great eggfly.To attract more butterflies the park has both nectar and host plants
