The adorable, funny and broke team of Fukrey returns after four years to present yet another big bang performance ringing the box office with over fifty crores in the first week. Varun Sharma with his innocent face and superpowers carries the slapslick humour with ease despite references to farts and bums. His fascination for Bholi Punjaban who seems to have put on weight makes for an interesting storyline. Despite her rough and scary demeanour she has you wishing all her scary plans to fruition. Pulkit Samrat still in his very corny way is managing to interpret Choocha’s dreams correctly and getting the whole team into a soup. Pankaj Tripathi as Panditji manages to impress as much as he had as an adorable dad in Bareilly ki barfi. Ali Fazal and the girls are mostly there for decorative purposes.

A tiger with his cub in the zoo where the guards are stealing their food will be a difficult explain to the kids There are some kissing scenes at the end of the movie but not embarrassing, in fact, they are cute. The length of the movie is a bit much and drags a little through the treasure hunt scenes, still, it keeps you glued throughout the movie. On the whole Fukrey Returns is a laugh riot and will have you rolling in your seats.
Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani have done justice to the 375 bucks you spend on the ticket, though mommies could try a Wednesday morning show in PVR for 150 bucks.
